MARIJA - Danslärare
“Dancing is my passion”
From an early age, Marija knew that she wanted to become a dancer. At three years old, she attended dancing preparing lessons for children and then later picked up on classical dances as a 6-year-old. Hereafter the dancing intensified and it was during the years to come she realized, that she couldn’t live without dance, and that she would pursue a career in dance as she grew up.
To work on her craft she attended the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy in 2015, later went on an exchange program in AHE Poland for a semester, and then becoming a bachelor in the Art of Dance when finishing her studies in 2019. After completing her studies, she went on to study at the Modern Dance Academy Hvilan to expand her knowledge about modern dance.
During her time in Lithuania, while studying, she became experienced on stage performing in multiple projects for the Šeiko Dance Theatre. During the spring of 2019, she danced for the Domino Theatre in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius, which later on toured the country performing the musical “LITUANICA”.
In 2017 Marija began teaching both gymnastics for children and ballet for children and teenagers from age 6-18 years. She acknowledges that people are unique and therefore have different needs as to the types of advice and guidance that will help them grow individually both on and off stage.
