MIKHAIL - Danslärare
If you would ask me at the age 4 ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’ I would most likely said an Olympic swimmer or football player. But at some point I have become a Ballroom dancer. Ballroom dancing it is a sport in Russia, the same as in many other countries, therefore already since I was 6years old my trainers and coaches forced me to practice very intensively because everybody understand that success is about hard work and dedication. Fortunately, I was focused on dancing and my hard work paid off.
So for 17 years of dancing: - I have become 2nd in Russian National Rating Competition - was 5th on the Federal District Competition in 10 dances - winner of the many others prestigious international and Russian Dancesport Championships - I have an international A-class in both programs: Ballroom style (Standart) (Slow Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep) and Latin-American style (Samba, Cha-cha-cha, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive) - For my results on competitions I’ve been awarded with a highest title - Master of Sports of Russian Federation.
When I was free of competitions I coached other ballroom couples. Mostly it was advanced couples, but I have an experience working with beginner dancers who become really good dancers in the future. Many of my students still continue dancing and achieve high results.
