DATIF - Danslärare
Datif is a professional dancer from Zanzibar, Tanzania. Born and raised on Zanzibar where dance is the essential in African culture and community.
Datif is specializing in Afrobeat and Amapiano, as well as other African dance styles like Ndombolo and traditional African dance. Datif loves to inspire others by sharing his energy and passion for dance, and you can truly feel the spirit of African dance and culture through his movement.
With many years of experience Datif have been teaching the tourist on Zanzibar and performed on many hotels and on stages with African artist like Costa Titch and Zuchu.
In Denmark Datif he continues to teach at different dance schools around the country, performing, making choreographies and create content for his social medias. Since 2024 Datif have been a member of the UNLOCKED dance crew with whom he has taken part in workshops and performances at prominent events in Copenhagen, including Distortion and with Nigerian artist 1da Banton. Datif have participated in many dances battle including the Culture Clash Battle at Roskilde Festival 2024 where he won.
Datif has performed alongside Tanzanian artist JJ Paulo, with whom he shares a close connection rooted in their common background and cultural heritage from Tanzania. Their strong bond has led to multiple collaborations, including appearances in JJ Paulo’s music videos.
